Unfortunately due to Brexit issues, it is with much regret we have decided to temporarily suspend all shipments to ROI.
Our courier DPD has not been able to forward plan for this transition and has not advised us of all the costs involved now with shipping to Ireland as a British business, being outside of the EU.
The options open to us are to pass on all costs to the customer or to absorb all costs as a business within the price of our goods. This may well work on full price goods if margins were very good but on Sale items it would mean us making a loss. i.e. a £50 dress would incur costs of approx £9 shipping + £9 DPD fees + any other 'disbursement' fees in country.
As much as we want to honour all orders it's not possible as a business to work like this.

As a small brand we have always done amazing business with Ireland & we love our Irish customers very much, so we are working this month to try to find a way around this situation going forward.
It is only a temporary measure as we are amassing a backlog of orders due to DPD initially suspending all Irish shipments in January and now the costs of actually sending goods.
We need to stop orders for a while to give us chance to try overcome this.
We pride ourselves on offering a great service to Ireland, only 2 days tracked! and I hope we'll be able to continue this in Spring when we find a way to move forward.

The 8th Sign uses DPD for all parcels using a ‘signed for’ delivery service, please note we are unable to leave items unsigned for on site.

Orders are processed only on Monday's, Wednesday's & Friday's, as we are a small business. If you order before 12pm GMT on a Monday/Wednesday/Friday your order will be dispatched same day.
If you order after 12pm it will be processed the next dispatch day i.e. if you order at 5pm on a Monday your order will be dispatched on the next dispatch day, which is Wednesday.
All orders from Saturday or Sunday are processed on a Monday (excluding bank holidays).
The 8th Sign aim to deliver all goods within the mentioned time frame, however sometimes during sale times and other busy periods deliveries may take longer. Should you not receive your order within 6 working days please contact us at email@example.com
Deliveries to Northern Ireland and the Highlands may take longer.
Deliveries to all international destinations are sent on a Tracked and Signed service.
Signatures are required upon delivery, if you are not in to sign for the parcel a courier will leave a card and take your order back then attempt to re deliver on 2 more attempts. If parcel is not collected it will be delivered back to The 8th Sign and we will redeliver to the customer again but at the customers expense.
We are happy to refund or exchange any item that is unworn within 14 days of receipt. Customers must ensure that all items returned are in the condition in which they were received with their original packaging and tags intact. We have the right to refuse refunds on items not returned in original condition.
Please use a secure tracked delivery service (such as Royal Mail Signed for or equivalent), as The 8th Sign cannot accept liability for any items not received. Please note that all return postage costs are the responsibility of the customer. The 8th Sign will also not be held responsible for any duty or import fees on international returns.
We will be able to issue your refund within 30 days of purchase date.
For any damages or faulty goods please contact us within two days of receipt of goods at firstname.lastname@example.org and our customer services team will be happy to deal with your query. Please ensure that you check and try your item as soon as you receive it, as we will not be responsible for faults found when items are only tried on some time later before an event. In this case we may only offer an exchange as a goodwill gesture. Any faults must be reported within two days of receipt.
